The first meet
Date : 13 July 2010
Time : 2230hrs
Venue : Aiman Cafe
Attendance : 8 (Firdaus, Wak, Brock, Aidil, Hafiz Sp, Hafiz Black, Faathir, Yunus)
The first ever meeting was held at Aiman Cafe. No one was late.
We arrived and everyone purchased a drink.
The meeting started off by Aidil explaining his findings on transport and accommodation. It is then followed by brainstorming by the team. Ideas includes transportation by coach, flights and train. For accommodation, hotels and apartments is included. The budget for transportation (to & fro) and accommodation (2d1n) is capped at S$150. If possible, hotel with breakfast is preferred. Faathir shall assist Aidil in this matter.
Ticket for the event will be purchased by Firdaus. S$45 shall be given to him by Wednesday. He added that there is a merchandise promotion of MotorGP shirt and cap which cost S$17. All agreed to purchase it if large sizes for the shirt is available.
We then establish point of contact. For team LRS, Wak will be in charge and for others, Faathir shall take charge.
It is decided that we will depart on Friday evening from Singapore and Sunday evening from Malaysia.
Saturday morning activities shall be plan by Hafiz Sp and for Saturday night activities shall be plan by Brock and Wak. Whereas, for food and beverages, Firdaus and Taufik shall take charge.
Everyone will give S$30 to Yunus for safe keeping in case of emergency before October. This money will be converted to RM if required.
No pictures were taken during this meeting but I'll try my best to take a few shots during the next meeting so that I could post pictures here as well. The next meeting will be held before the fasting month of Ramadhan.
